An elephant dreams she can fly. Happy and elated, she flaps her ears and soars high above the Thai forest. Artist Supachet creates a naïf composition with black ink. Printed and signed by the artist in 2004. Limited edition of 50 prints.
To make this print, artist Supachet uses the linocut printmaking technique. He carves the wanted design into a linoleum sheet with sharp tools. The uncarved areas represent the parts that get printed. He inks the sheet with a hand-powered roller, and then impresses the design onto the handmade saa paper.
This is a limited edition.
