Description:
With words of encouragement and tender look in her eyes, a mother fairy patiently teaches her young daughter to fly. She gently holds her hand while her daughter playfully flutters around her. The artist signs the figurine with his initials.
Please note that no butterfly is harmed for the production of this fairy. The butterflies are non-threatened species reared in farms. After they have lived their natural lifespan and left our world, their wings are collected and dipped in resin for preservation.
Because natural wings are used, little imperfections may appear in the wings. Color, size and shape may slightly vary. Color discrepancies may occur between this item and your computer screen.

About the Artist:
This figurine is designed and crafted by artist Alain Vachaudez. Alain is a Belgian artist who moved to Thailand some 20 years ago, where he lives with his Thai wife and young son.
Alain says: "Fairies are the emissaries of a gentle side of reality, of a parallel dream time, where all beings enjoy life in harmony. They are delicate manifestations of the spirit of nature, of the joy and happiness to which all humans aspire. They remind us of the fragility of the beauty that surrounds us, which we have the duty to protect. All thoughts that link us to them form a message of love to the mother of us all."
