Description:
With serene features and eyes half-closed Buddha's face radiates a golden hue. Rawat Vongla adds to the scene swimming fishes and explains: "Buddha presence is always appeasing, while the fishes depicted here are a symbol for people who practice the dharma. They should keep on studying and not fear to drown in the ocean of dukkha, or suffering." The artist signs and writes his name in Thai at the bottom of the piece.
