By Pairote Sitthikaew, two Buddha images stand face-to-face. They look at the flawless beam that streams out from a pink lotus flower. The pink lotus is the supreme lotus. It represents the historical Buddha and the historical legends of the Buddha. The images are serene, while the green angry face of a giant demon lurks in the background. The artist executes this works with acrylics. Signed and painted in 2012.

About the Artist:
This painting was made by Pairote Sitthikaew. The artist was born in the province of Chiang Rai, in northern Thailand. He studied arts at the famed Pho Chang College of Arts in Bangkok. He now lives and paints in Chiang Mai.
