Description:
Protective winds swirl a bodhi leaf above a chaotic expanse. Unspoiled, the leaf emanates a white halo. The Bodhi Tree was a large and old pipal (a variety of fig) tree, under which Buddha achieved enlightenment while meditating. This leaf is a symbol of awakening and of Dhamma. The Dhamma, or Dharma, is the teachings and the methods of the Buddha. This painting, by artist Pairote Sitthikaew, was painted in 2012 and arrives signed.
