Description:
Painting with oils, Akkpoup Prukpeeti opens a window on Prasart temple in Chiang Mai. "When I decided to make Chiang Mai my home, I had more time to appreciate the city atmosphere than during my previous short visits. The city has such a rich history. It all started in 1296. There are many old buildings featuring the northern Thai architectural style. There are hundreds of temples in Chiang Mai. Some are 700 years old whereas others are very new. I find Wat Prasart, a relatively new temple, so beautiful. Even though it was only built in 1823, it gives me the feeling of the ancient Northern Thai architecture," Akkpoup explains. The painting is signed.
