Description:
Santhan Limpaiboon captures the bright colors of the northern landscape in this painting. "In visited Mae Hong Son province in July 2012. It is the most mountainous province in Thailand. I went to Kong Mu hill. I have always found that hill very attractive. It is not standing too high and features natural colors. I visited the temple Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu that is located atop the hill. I sat next to the pagoda and admired the view. It was in the middle of the rainy season and the rain brightened the green vegetation. The yellow and red flowers contrasted with the green and the sky was so blue. I tried and immortalize that moment with an impressionist style," says the artist.
