Working with cotton, the Lanna artisans craft this shoulder bag by hand. They decorate the front with a large band embroidered by Thailand's Yao ethnic minority people and with a labyrinthine pattern. Lined with cotton, the interior has a practical pocket to keep small items handy. The bag closes with a hoop over an elephant button carved from coconut shell.
