Description:
Glowing with a green hue, a statue of Buddha emerges from the darkness. The statue stands upright in the temple, its palm facing outwards, the fingers upright and joined. This peaceful hand gesture is called Abhaya Mudra. It symbolizes reassurance, blessing, protection, peace and the dispelling of fear. Artist Rawat Vongla immortalizes the scene with acrylics and signs his name in Thai at the bottom of the painting.
