The open lotus signifies enlightenment. Using symbolism Rawat Vongla conveys his Buddhist faith with a bright palette of acrylics. The artist signs and writes his name in Thai at the bottom of the piece. Painted in 2011.

About the Artist:
This painting was made by Rawat Vongla. The artist was born in Udon Thani, in north-east Thailand. He studied Art and later Design. He graduated with a master degree from Rajamangala University of Technology in Chiang Mai. He has exhibited his artworks several times in Thailand and received 4 awards.
